My Approach
I help Gen Zers and Millenials learn to live authentically and find relief from various concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, life changes, and relational issues and conflicts. I do this by first helping them to identify what’s getting in the way of the life they want and then developing the skills they need to face life’s challenges, including day-to-day mindfulness practices and cultivating more positive thoughts and behaviours aligned with their goals.
I believe in meeting people where they're at, understanding their complex lives and stories, and having them feel safe in a non-judgmental space. My style is collaborative, exploratory, authentic, and open. If you choose to meet with me, I hope to get to know you deeply so we can explore your thoughts, feelings, histories, and next steps together. Even more, I hope the experience of being known helps you, in turn, to know yourself. While we’ll likely talk about hard things during our work together, I also believe in making space for lightheartedness in our conversations.
I also have experience facilitating a weekly anxiety support group, providing mental health mentorship to post-secondary students, and supporting members of the 2SLBGTQIA+ communities as a volunteer services coordinator.
On A Personal Note
Mental health advocacy is an important part of my life. In my free time, I nurture my own mental health by spending time with friends and family, and taking pleasure in all the world has to offer.
